About Us
Rumah Montessori
Rumah Montessori is a kindergarten for children aged 3 – 6 years old offering a full Montessori education system delivered by a qualified and certified AMI Trained Teacher.
The school is located in the township of Permas Jaya, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
Our environment is prepared in an open concept Montessori setting classroom, lots of natural lighting and with a mini balcony garden that is specially designed for children.

Rumah Montessori adopts a full Montessori education system which was founded by none other than Dr. Maria Montessori.
Along the way, through research and scientific observation, Maria Montessori has created and implemented the principle, methods and materials that can support children's natural development.
She believed that education is an “aid to life”.
As children grows in different stages of their life and in their own natural development, Maria Montessori believes in creating an environment that is respecting to that particular plane, which helps them to be independent and to satisfy their learning and emotional needs.
In this prepared environment, children will have the freedom to move, freedom to speak and most importantly the freedom to choose.
However, all these are with certain boundaries which is set by teachers.
The teacher's presence in the environment are solely to guide, observe and inspire the children to follow their own inner guide.
Aside from that, teachers will help the children to engage in their purposeful, self-directed activities and eventually the child will give their best to complete their tasks.
